Discovered a lovely blog the other day...cookiesandcups.com. She "chronicles her life in sugar" thru fun (and absolutely doable!) recipes and her wit: this gal's writing is an absolute treat (no pun intended)...I go over there just for a mental pick me up. She tells it like it is with a very engaging style.
Why am I telling you about her? I have no idea....sharing the wealth I guess. :)
But I DO know I wanted to continue my 'review' of the past several months. Let's pick up around Thanksgiving and move into Christmas stuff shall we?
The pictures don't do this layout justice....it is my absolute favorite in a quite some time. The distressed and scalloped edges, the aged tint to the photos, the colors, the leaves....sigh. Just love it. The kids are pretty cute too. ;)
We had two other complete layouts making up this scrap workshop....but the other two paled compared to this one (photos were kind of boring...."hey, there's a turkey!" and the like)....I just couldn't post 'em! Vain, right? Here are a couple close ups though...

On to some Christmas projects (variation on a theme)....
Papers come from all over (I love Christmas papers...what can I say?), sentiment stamp is Papertrey Ink, embellishments are varied, pillow box pattern and scalloped tag come from (of course) my beloved CTMH cricut cartridge!
Thanks for looking galz!
Peace,
hp
