It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...finally!

We finally had the chance to drive up to Richardson's Tree Farm last night and pick out a tree. It is the most fragrant fir and it is GLORIOUS! Unfortunately, it also weighs about a 100lbs and almost broke my hubby's back pulling it off the van. Uhm...sorry luv. The foliage is so thick...I didn't factor in potential weight when choosing. Whoops.

No worries tho'. She has a few quirks as all of our trees do...a little lean for example, and a trunk too big for the stand. Double whoops. :) A few minutes with the chain saw and quite a bit of tree wrestling and she's home! Decoration begins tonight! :)

Oh, and did I mention fragrant? Any one want to come over and smell some Christmas magic? ;)
